  • the island of Néa Kaméni, which constitutes the active part of the volcano,
  • Paléa Kaméni – which means “old burned” -,
  • Aspronissi – which means “white island”, smaller and difficult to access.

How is the visit?

Volcano Day

If you opt for a tour, it is usually done in three stages.
You walk through the volcanic site for 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes. You will discover the craters and the history of the volcano.
Then, a stopover in warm waters awaits you!
The last stop will be on the neighboring and peaceful island, about 1 hour, for a meal, a drink or a small bath.
Return by Oia for those who opt for the sunset option in Oia. Then Direction Fira for the others.
